My mother, Meg Horan as “Queen of the Fairies” in the, Sunnyslope School's musical of the same name in 1944. My mother truly was the Queen. Her costume was handmade and sewn by her Mother, Helen, complete down to the wand and crown. As my mother and I chatted about using her picture as the inspiration for the label, she broke out in her song, "I am Queen of the Fairies".
